Discord Information
Ward Systems integrates with Discord to provide its services. When Ward is installed on or used with a Discord server, we may receive or process certain information made available to the bot through Discord's APIs and permissions.
Depending on the features enabled by a server, this may include information relating to members, roles, channels, messages, moderation events, server configuration, reports, and other Discord data required for the requested functionality.
Ward Systems does not intentionally collect more Discord information than is reasonably necessary for the feature being provided.
Server owners and administrators are responsible for configuring Ward with appropriate permissions and determining which Ward features are enabled on their servers.
Ward Systems is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with Discord unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We do not use information for purposes unrelated to the operation, security, improvement, or legitimate administration of Ward Systems unless otherwise disclosed or permitted by applicable law.
Ward Score and Security Signals
Ward Systems may generate security-related scores, classifications, reports, and other signals associated with Discord users or activity.
These signals may be based on information such as community reports, security events, detected behavior, account-related signals, moderation history, and other information available to Ward Systems.
Ward Score is intended to assist Discord communities with security and moderation. It is not intended to establish a definitive statement about a person's identity, character, or intentions.
Automated systems may make mistakes. A score or security classification may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or affected by false positives or false negatives.
Server owners and moderators should consider relevant context and human judgment before taking significant action against a user.
Third-Party Services
Ward Systems may use third-party providers to operate portions of our services. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
Third-party services may include authentication providers, hosting providers, database providers, monitoring platforms, analytics services, email providers, security services, and other infrastructure providers.
Third-party providers maintain their own privacy policies and terms. Ward Systems is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services that you access or use.
Authentication through Clerk or another supported provider may involve processing information according to that provider's privacy policy and applicable terms.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods. Security logs, moderation records, reports, account information, and technical data may have different retention requirements.
We may retain certain information for longer when reasonably necessary to investigate security incidents, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or protect our services and users.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of certain information associated with your use of Ward Systems.
Some information may need to be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, or other legitimate purposes.
Removing Ward Systems from a Discord server does not necessarily cause all previously processed information to be immediately deleted.
To request deletion of information, contact us using the information provided in the Contact section of this Privacy Policy.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, and other forms of misuse.
Security measures may include access controls, authentication systems, monitoring, logging, encryption where appropriate, infrastructure protections, and other security practices.
However, no internet service, computer system, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If we become aware of a security incident that requires notification under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps consistent with those legal requirements.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information.
These rights may include the ability to request access to certain information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or request a copy of information in a portable format where applicable.
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify a request before completing it to protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access to information.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to remove or limit privacy rights that cannot legally be waived.
Children's Privacy
Ward Systems is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Because Ward Systems operates with Discord, users must also comply with the age requirements and applicable policies established by Discord.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Ward Systems in circumstances where such collection is not permitted, contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
International Data Processing
Depending on where our infrastructure and service providers operate, information processed through Ward Systems may be transferred to or processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate measures relating to international transfers of personal information.
By using Ward Systems, you acknowledge that information may be processed through infrastructure and service providers located in different jurisdictions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Ward Systems changes, new features are introduced, our data practices evolve, or legal requirements change.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of Ward Systems after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
